Easily identified by their flat reddish bodies, they are as tiny as an apple seed and can hide in the smallest cracks and crevices in your home or business. Common places they like to hide include electrical outlets, behind wallpaper, mattresses, bedding, cushions, and the inner joints of furniture.
Due to their tendency to hide during daylight hours, they become more active at night. Their parasitic nature causes them to feed on any human that is sleeping and defenseless against their onslaught.
Their bites result in itchy rashes, with victims reporting hundreds of bites inflicted on their bodies night after night.
